Top Three Tips for Staying Healthy and Motivated:
DRINK ALL THE WATER- the more you drink, the more toxins you will be able to flush out of your body. Additionally, dehydration makes you lethargic and can compromise the strength of your immune system and your overall organ function.
INCREASE VITAMIN C AND D INTAKE- we don’t get as much vitamin C and D in the colder months as we do in the summer, so to maintain the levels of these vitamins in your body take a supplement or include some vitamin-rich foods in your daily diet, such as Kiwi, Parsley, and Kale
DO SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU SWEAT- everyone has very busy schedules with work, school, etc. But, everyone has at least 30 minutes a day to devote to maintaining cardiovascular health. Exercise doesn’t necessarily have to be 45 minutes of intensity on a bike, it can be as simple as taking a 30-minute power walk, going to yoga, or taking a dance class. The idea behind this as part of your daily routine is that in order to perform as a student or professional to the best of your ability, you have to devote that time to keep your body and mind healthy so that you can live up to your full potential!
